31 Days To Christmas – Poppet Party!
31 days to Christmas?!? You’re joking! Where is the time going?? All I keep saying is, “Well, I’ve ordered the turkey!”. As if that is an indicator that I’ve got things under control. Ha Ha Ha.
And so to my old mantra, ONE DAY AT A TIME. As soon as I say that to myself, I immediately feel relief.
Believe me when I say that any anxiety I may be experiencing has nothing to do with Christmas. I really am not fretting about Christmas. Quite the contrary. I am really looking forward to spending time with the family. I’ve managed decades of big Christmas dinners and parties – haven’t we all? So we’ve had lots of practice!
It’s just my list of things to do. It never seems to get any shorter! No matter how many boxes I tick, no matter how many things I get done, the list seems to keep getting longer!
This morning for example. There’s the SHAC. I prepared that yesterday, so the bus driver knows where the SHAC bus is headed – and you will enjoy this journey, I’m sure! See you at 10. I’m typing really fast, because it’s already gone 8am, and I am still at home. Leave it much longer, and I will have to stream the SHAC session from here, and then go to Clarity Towers for the 2pm Poppet party. We shall see.
Right. Focus on the job at hand, Gray! THE POPPET PARTY!!
We love our Pergamano Poppets! This afternoon at 2pm , we are shining a light on the stamps – particularly the little stamps, it being Mini-Makes Monday. These little A4 sets of super cute Poppets are perfect. Every single little character is a delight to stamp and get creative with.

Right. It’s decision time. Do I stream the SHAC from home, then drive over to Clarity HQ for the 2pm show? Or do I go now, have a meeting with Jazz and Paul about other important stuff on that never-ending list beforehand? Then I am already there for the 2pm show. (Did the prep yesterday, and have already emailed the projects for the Show downloads)
Humour me. What would YOU do? Stay here, or go now? Traffic is a factor…..

It would depend on how many jobs could be done at home before heading off to the office! Or how many more jobs could be ticked off the list at work! The poppets are all lovely and those samples are brilliant! Time together cracking on my “to do” list! Haha. Will watch poppets shac later! Have a good day!

My to do list is quite extensive, although one little line does not seem to convey the amount of work that is involved eg “pack boxes”…………! Maybe if I write it in capital letters it will feel more appropriate…..!
Totally agree on the packing of BOXES 😂, I can’t believe we have got through so many & that’s after disposing of a lot of stuff. Good Luck with the move xx

Like Lynn, my replies the last 2days have mysteriously disappeared. Could be my machine but I checked my typing before sending. Perhaps my house elf is having a lark. Who knows?
Decisions, decisions…….nope can’t decide for you sorry. Really looking forward to the show as I just love the poppets, I’ve got the large and the small ones just in case. Just remember worrying doesn’t help anything and solves nothing whatsoever so goodness knows why we all do it.
Will see you in a few minutes to see what you decided but as you say One Day at a Time but also 1 job at a time. Today is the present, yesterday has gone & tomorrow is the future !!
