đź’™ We Make to Honour the Order

Hi. Me again.

Second blog today!

I wanted to take a moment to address something that’s come up this week. Our big Sale has been a roaring success — thank you so much for that! The support has been overwhelming, and we’re so grateful to everyone who placed an order.

But — and there’s always a but, isn’t there — the sheer volume of orders means we’ve fallen a little behind on dispatch.

Now, for those of you who’ve been part of the Clarity family for years, you’ll know how we work. For those who are new to us (welcome aboard!), let me explain what’s going on behind the scenes.

We don’t mass-produce. We don’t import container-loads of product from overseas. We design, make, and pack everything ourselves — right here in our workshops in Kent. Every Groovi plate, every stencil, every stamp.

So, when something sells out during a busy Sale, we don’t cancel your order. We don’t say “sorry, out of stock.” Instead, we roll up our sleeves and make more — to honour the orders that have already been placed.

We don’t make to order — we make to honour the order.

That’s the Clarity way. Always has been. Always will be.

Of course, this approach takes time. It’s not the fastest way to do things, but it is — in our eyes — the right way. We believe in keeping production in-house, in providing fair work for our team, and in maintaining the level of quality and craftsmanship you’ve come to expect from us.

We’re just catching up now after a few unexpected hiccups (one of our machines decided to have a little rest — and so did my husband Dave, though not quite by choice!). He’s on the mend, thank goodness, and the machines are humming again.

So please, if you’re still waiting for your order, rest assured — it’s safe in our system, and we’re working flat-out to get it to you. Every plate, every stamp, every stencil is being made with care, as always.

I know it can be frustrating to wait, especially if you’re new to Clarity and you’re used to Amazon-speed delivery. But we’re not Amazon — we’re a small, independent British company, doing our best to bring you quality, creativity, and care in every parcel we send out.

Your order may take a fortnight, it may even take 3 weeks. But one thing I can tell you for sure is that if it is caught up, it will be because

  • it’s waiting on something to be made,
  • you placed several orders at different times (thank you!), and we have consolidated them to save on shipping costs,
  • the order was placed later during the week of the sale, and we’re getting to it.

Regular orders – not those in the half price sale – are also being fulfilled at the same time. In other words, if you are placing orders for non-sale items, those orders are not at the end of the queue! They are being picked and packed in parallel. Phew.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your continued support. You make what we do possible.

Love always,
Barb x
and the Clarity Team đź’™

  1. To anyone new to the Clarity family, please be kind to the wonderful Clarity team. A wonderful company with such HONOUR.
    Remember patience is a virtue!

  2. Thanks for the update Barbara. I placed my sale order on the first day as soon as you announced it fully expecting a long wait. It arrived yesterday…. I am always amazed at how quickly you do things and this in the week that you had a two hour tv show and several shows on Clarity TV with sellouts so lots of time with you and other team members being away from Clarity Towers and picking and packing duties. Thank you so much for the unexpected sale prices and speedy delivery

  3. Hello Barb, I for one appreciate the effort that goes into Clarity. Yes sometimes we want the things straight away for a specific purpose, but that is not always possible. It happens elsewhere, not just with Clarity. I recently placed an order for a craft product from a well known craft company, via a well known channel (it is not a product that Clarity makes or stocks), I will not say who, because I’m no after digging holes or naming and shaming ;-). I waited a while, and after about 3/4 days I received an email saying “sorry your order has been cancelled”. When I ordered, there was no mention of being out of stock, so I was a bit peeved to say the least, and my response to the email was rather brutal and to the point. Anyway, my point here is that I do sometimes have to wait for my Clarity orders, and other times, they arrive in mere days. Your website is also pretty good in saying if something is out of stock at the outset. Your sales and offers are second to none. So to all the complainers out there, the saying of the day is “Good things come to those who wait”. Take care. Bx

  4. I know when I place a sale order that there may be a wait. I understand, and I fully support the reasons why.
It’s very reassuring to know that my order will be honoured come what may, and also good to know that I can take my time to choose without having to rush to place my order before stock runs out. It’s definitely worth the wait!
Sorry to hear that Dave hasn’t been 100%, I hope that he’s feeling much more better now.
Thank you for treating us all to a lovely sale!
With best wishes to you and the Clarity team.

  5. Thank you to all at Clarity Towers for the wonderful work you do for us. We are very grateful for everything and you are much appreciated!!!xxxxx

  6. Good morning to you and the team.
I have placed several orders and am happy to wait as long as it takes as I understand how you all work.
The quality of your goods is well worth the wait. I no longer buy from other craft companies unless it is an essential you do not supply, but it is rare that I need to.
Hope Dave is feeling better and that you both have a good weekend.

  7. YooooHoooo all.
As they say in my neck of the woods “nee botha pet”
To all my dear friends at Clarity, keep calm, take care of each other and plenty of tea too.🤣

  8. Do hope Dave is improving. Not a great time for you all to get poorly. Small companies have to wear many hats (people that is), and one down puts strain on all of the process! Most of us understand and are prepared to wait! Hope you don’t all get poorly! Hope you all have a good weekend! X

  9. hello to Barbara and all the team. We all know what a fantastic company you are and appreciate all that you do and how long you have been there for us , everyday throughout some very hard times. You know the saying *all good things come to those that wait *. Buying from clarity the good things do come. Long my you continue, take care, xxxx,

  10. To Barbara and everyone at Team Clarity,
It always has and continues to be an absolute pleasure to deal with a company such as yours. Your moral compass is second to none in my opinion. You all give of yourselves a million % to make our crafting experience an amazing journey. Albeit, ordering excellent quality items not paralleled anywhere, teaching us techniques etc for free on how to make the best use of everything you sell. Keeping us company in the shac. The list is endless. I for one feel very fortunate to be part of the Clarity family. Please, please keep doing what you do and don’t change a thing, because everything about Clarity is just so perfect. Sending each and every one of you a BIG hug and lots of love xXx

  11. Just want to say thank you all at Clarity Towers for all the hard work you out in to keep us all happy with TV 📺 shows and everything that is going on. Thank you again from the bottom and top off my heart ❤, you keep me going. planing my week around your shows. thank you all xxx

  12. I placed an order last week and fully appreciate that you have a lot on your plate so thank you for the email explaining that it will take a bit longer . I don’t know another company that does that so well done in everything your team does.

  13. I am happy to wait, no matter how long it takes. You have a brilliant company and team Clarity is simply THE BEST. Have a lovely weekend. xxx

  14. I do hope that Dave is feeling better and is back on his feet soon. I am always prepared to wait for sale orders if needed. I appreciate the effort made by the whole team to get things out as soon as possible. Clarity goodies are always worth the wait. Hugs.

  15. I hardly ever reply, but need to do today just to say big Thank You, Barbara and kind Clarity Team for “quality, creativity and care in every parcel that [you] send out”. And of course your products are so worth it to place order in the first place, and well worth waiting for 🙂. Best wishes for continued success. Xx

  16. Sorry to hear that Dave is unwell and hope he gets better soon. I agree with everything that has been said before. It will take as long as it takes. I know how hard the team at Clarity work and it is much appreciated. Big thanks to all of you.
