Happy Birthday! Free Stencil with every order over £60!!

Happy Birthday! Free Stencil with every order over £60!!

Hi there!

And the Clarity Birthday celebrations just keep rolling! This weekend, until midnight Sunday, we‘re giving away a fabulous A4 Stencil (worth £7.99) with every order over £60.

I love this stencil! It’s industrial in style, like retro packaging, with faux punchinella and stripes. You can buy it if you love it, or get it free with your order. The best part? This offer applies to anything you buy from our website, not just the goodies I shared with you today!

This morning I pitched the Online One-Day Workshop for Alcohol Ink on a Gel Plate I was telling you about yesterday. I do hope you join me on this, the first in a whole series of Gel Plate online courses and workshops…CLICK HERE

For your convenience, here is the ingredients download, which you can also find next to the actual Online Workshop product on our website.

I mentioned I had rustled up a little step by step project, using the new stencil, in combination with the new Stamp set, featuring Mr Painter.

So here it is. The photos explain the sequence more easily than words can!

I start with an alcohol mop up scrap, that I rolled the ink on my brayer off onto.

The main exercise is how to get the painter to look as if he is painting a poster. Once you figure this out, you can add him to ANYTHING!

Enjoy your weekend! Anything planned? I am going to do some pottery, I think. Then on Monday, it’s back in the SHAC. Which reminds me. I must prepare a couple of demos for Monday afternoon Clarity TV at 2pm . Smashing set of stamps coming your way! Christmas backdrop stamps. Excellent!! The Clarity Birthday celebration just keep on keeping on….

Love always

Birds and candle holders bisque fired and all good! Flat, not warped, is good!

Even made a few owls…see?

I’ll make a few more of them this evening….

Love always,

  1. What am I doing? Well……one of our neighbours has a birthday coming up – he will be 84. As he is partially sighted I want to make a card he can feel as well as see a bit. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

PS if you have a Clarity suggestion box, can I ask for stickers/labels for my slow down boxes. When I met Janice at Doncaster, she gave me a timestamp sticker – guess which slow down box that is on!

  2. I am in Coventry visiting the family. 3 year old grandsons birthday party tomorrow. loved the pottery . Barbara.
My request for a suggestion box – vertical greeting stamps (please)

  3. Hi Barb, love the demo. My painters and Clarity Street stamps arrived today, must think about the Groovi ones now but just ordered Linda Williams’ new set. Good job I’ll be getting my OAP next month! I seem to be having more stamps than Groovi recently. Also got the lesson too ! Enjoy your pottery. X

  4. Thank you for the step by step, Mr Painter stamp arrived yesterday along with my club goodies, so lots to play with over the weekend, once I’ve done some ironing! Take care. xxx

  5. Love your latest pottery – my little bird from the last Open Day is sitting on the bookcase behind me. He has a bit more space at the moment as I have removed all the books we no longer need as part of our downsizing. I need to catch up with Paul’s shows this afternoon as I went to fetch my new glasses. Change in prescription so hopefully things will settle down over the next few days.
Looking forward to the Gelli plate workshop, I did have a play a few months ago & it was very addictive but need to work out depth & placement of colour to make a better piece to over stamp on.

  6. I couldn’t resist signing up for the new alcohol ink and gel plate course – that’s going to be such fun! Love the look of your new pottery, Barb. Hopefully some of it will be for sale soon? The candle holders look perfect for Christmas. Later in the week it will be our 49th anniversary, so this weekend I will be putting the finishing touches to a card for my lovely Anita. 😊
Have a lovely weekend, Barb, see you in the SHAC on Monday.

  7. I’m soooooo looking forward to the course as I wasn’t able to attend the open days or the retreat.
This weekend I’m helping my daughter and her boyfriend move out of their rented accommodation and into their own home. It’s going to be a busy weekend! 🏡 🌸🌼🌺

  8. Just catching up on all the shows I missed the last 10 days. Mr Painter stamps & Groovi, and papers arrived yesterday to complete my orders and I will be spending some time tidying up and putting things away.
Your pottery looks great. Love the owls, my favourite bird.
Hope you are feeling better but take it easy if you can. Don’t overdo things.

  9. I’ll sign up for the course later after I’ve had a stall at the local village market where I go regularly. I love the painters so I expect they’ll slip into my basket too! Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Xx

  10. Hello Barb, thanks for this great step by step, I want to use the idea for Hubby’s birthday card, fortunately his name is also 4 letters! I love the Mr Painter stamps, and the mask is brilliant (remind me a bit of when he painted our house during lockdown). Enjoy the pottery, the glimpse of what you have done is amazing. I am looking forward to the new backdrop stamps. Take care everyone. Bx

  11. Thank you for this step by step much appreciated. Guess what hubby is getting me for my birthday…….can’t wait to get inky and messy. As Linda mentioned is there any chance vertical sentiment stamps for occasions will be appearing anytime in the future? Love all the pottery by the way but do please make sure you don’t overdo it.

  12. This is lovely!
I look forward to seeing what colours the birds and candle holders end up!

I am making a card for my friend’s son who will be 6 next month – using the club plate with the balloons.
Then, I really must get some more Christmas cards started.

Take care Barbara and travel gently xxxx
