A Landscape Journey which spanned a year…

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Before I head over to work, to set up for this afternoon, how about a quick blog, to map out today’s Clarity TV show flow at 3pm? I still have to find a few bits and bobs, but thought it would be good just to blog the journey we’ve been on with this Landscape Art…

It all started with these tea-bag, tea infusion papers. Remember these?

Well, I used them to develop a Landscape Summer retreat session last year. Who was with me on that one? It sure was popular!

So popular, in fact, that I took the plunge, designed 2 more (the Lighthouse and The Viaduct), and we launched our very first Online Paid workshops! Turns out I shouldn’t have worried. Hundreds of you loved these two. In fact, I have even prepared a new one, THE GLASTONBURY TOR, for a cosy Saturday afternoon in November maybe, when we can all hang out together again online, and get arty.

Anyway, then we launched the 3 landscapes as very cool Fresh Cut Dies. Different process to the very scissor-centric originals…

Due to many requests – I organised another Clarity Classroom Online Workshop. This time we explored the different possibilities when you use dies…splendid!

Of course, we always go LIVE with our online classes, but we do record them, just in case you want to learn, but can’t make the LIVE session. Or just in case you did attend the LIVE session, but you want to go back and craftalong again. ALL our past Clarity Classroom Online Courses mentioned here are available on our website.

When we developed the dies, we decided to add some fab stamps to the mix. After all, a landscape needs a few trees and sheep….so we designed two Mega Build-A-Landscape A5 Stamp Sets

But wouldn’t it be great to use the landscapes in conjunction with wintery Christmas scenes too?

This afternoon, we launch the brand new Mega Build A Landscape – Christmas A5 Stamp Set

But we’ve come up trumps with another really REALLY cool collection of Landscape prints. We’ve taken the landscape designs, mixed them with the Infusion papers, added colours tone filters – and BINGO!! Blimming beautiful landscape toppers – 6×6 inch and 4×4 inch – all ready to stamp on. The 6 inch is the exact same size as the dies too! So you can chop and layer too!! Methinks another online workshop might be a good idea! So much scope!

Here is some inspiration from the Design Team. The Landscape Prints are fresh off the Press this week, so we never got to send them to the team! They haven’t even used them here, but it looks like they liked the Christmas Stampset! Here are just a few! We will take a closer look this afternoon.

For the early birds, everything can be found on our Clarity Social TV Show page HERE

Right. Must dash! See you later.

Love always

  1. The Design Team have done a wonderful job with the new stamps & watching you use the new backgrounds this afternoon there is even more inspiration & many combinations of design to be achieved over the coming months. Now to complete my order & then get ready for another hour in the SHAC tomorrow.

  2. Hi Barbara
Like the sound of the Glastonbury Tor we moved to Somerset 5 years ago and earlier this year I managed to walk up to the Tor well worth the effort. Love the new Christmas stamps.
