Barbara’s Landscapes Backdrop Prints – A new idea…

Barbara’s Landscapes Backdrop Prints – A new idea…

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Just in case you missed the 2pm Clarity TV today….

Here’s something new that might really help you with your card-making and artwork. You know when you want to just grab some me-time, but you have neither the time nor the headspace to “start from scratch”? Well, here’s a really neat, artistic solution…

I have designed a whole load of beautiful, subtle landscape background prints for you, all ready to be filled. I did these using alcohol inks on a Gel Press; in fact, we covered this technique in the Sunday Workshop at Ditton last week, so several of you will know exactly how I created these.

All you need is some small scene-building stamps – and of course, we have loads of them!

At 2pm this afternoon, I gave you tips and tricks on Clarity TV, on how to use them best, how to build your scenes, how to make lovely art with minimal strain! It is so effective, AND enjoyable too.

Here is just one of the demos I did today. See how you can add your story?

They are printed on top quality stock, perfect for stamping your scenes into, adding your story. There are 20 different prints altogether, in the big pack. You can chop them up into smaller pieces, tall or wide – you can make sets, you can create reflective wall art. You can add colour and you can doodle straight into them, too. Every single print offers you different colours, hills, slopes, dales, fields, water, rivers, lakes – you just have to look – and use your imagination.

The guys at work also thought they would make great toppers and tags. So the whole print is shrunk instead of chopped up. Also great.

Also available as Toppers & Tags

Here are other demos I did this afternoon, using the smaller Tags and Toppers:

I am sure many of you already have loads of little scene-builder stamps, right? We compiled this little set of my favourite trees, birds and other images, which I always seem to reach for, but which are spread over several different stamp sets. I like having my faves all in one place, and I thought it would be a smashing little starting place, if you fancy trying your hand at landscaping on these printed backdrops.

Barbara’s Build a Landscape Favourites A6 Stamp Set

Some of them were plucked from the Mega Build a Landscape A5 Stamp Sets, and other sets in the Clarity catalogue.

Time to stop for the day.

Have a lovely evening.

Love always,

  1. Really love these scene building landscapes and stamps looking forward to getting mine to have a play
    Brilliant

  2. I loved the workshop that taught us how to make these backgrounds but the ready made ones are such a brilliant idea. I bought the mega build a landscape stamps and just love making little story telling scenes. So classy!

    Brilliant products as always

  3. The new backdrop prints fell in my basket along with some of the foil but just realised I forgot to add the rub on sentiments so that will have to wait until my next order, which no doubt won’t be long 😂😂
Now for a sit down & read this months club stuff that the postman brought earlier which I put on one side until I had watched the 2pm show & I had done some of the outstanding workshop projects.
With the SHAC this morning it has been a very busy Clarity focused day – I did do the ironing & put the rest of the washing away between 11 & 2 so not totally on the naughty step x

  4. Love these and will be in my basket some time soon ! I’ve primed two sides of our new summerhouse today, might not be able to move my arms in the morning! I imagined I had a brayer in my hand, I hadn’t used a roller before to paint. Son came after work to put the floor in so that was good and he said he pant the colour on – hurrah ! Too much for hubby and I was beginning to think I’d bitten off more than I could chew but felt I had to show willing 😹 it’s doing the top and bottom bits, getting down and reaching up, I tense just two steps up wobbly steps 😹 It must be age and aches and pains. Just two more sides to do tomorrow if I can move my arms ! I managed to catch some of your afternoon show and the Shac, enjoyed the rave tales ! love and hugs x x

  5. I couldn’t watch the shows today so will catch up tomorrow. They look great. Another clever idea. Take care.

  6. Hello Barb, have not watched the show yet, but it did not stop me ordering the background and topper set. They are beautiful. I am going to catch up this morning. Opened my craft club envelope yesterday and absolutely love the stamps and the stencil. Have a great day everyone. Bx

  7. These look great . not being able to attend the open days I was hoping for 321 class with alcohol ink on gel plate (still hoping ) but will be able to get involved thanks to these sets will watch the show on catch up as was busy at dads so couldn’t watch live

  8. Items ordered yesterday. I have all the wee/mini stamps and these new background designs are great as is the new mixed stamp set. My stamp pens sit on my desk all the time in the pen holders which are a game changer. I don’t think I’ve used more than 2 other mounts recently.
I need to get colouring now there are so many stamped items on my desk. Oh joy, more cards completed, happy day.
    Stay safe.
