BRAND NEW : Pretty Patchwork Plate
Hi there
Apologies for the absence this week. It has been so hectic since we got back from our holidays! I am starting to think about booking another one! A really, really LONG one!
Just a little recap….
- Last Thursday Evening Craftalong with the layout dies and trees. Seems a long time ago!
- Saturday afternoon: Paper Collage Online Workshop,(plus the pre-recorded version of the same, which, I can assure you, took exactly the same amount of time!)
- Sunday: Set up for the Retreat
- Monday and Tuesday: Our 2-day Pergamano Parchment Retreat with Linda and Paul, at the Spa Tunbridge Wells. Went brilliantly. Tick that box!
- Wednesday: Brand new Groovi Launch on our own Clarity TV. Very popular!
No wonder I’m cream crackered! I finished the November Club projects this morning, cleared the decks for the SHAC tonight, figured out what we’re all doing together – and once I have blogged this, I am going for a little nap.
Thing is, I can handle the work, I really can. Any amount of it. It’s the shape shifting all around me on Create & Craft that is wearing me out! Latest update this morning: they are going live next Wednesday now. We shall see. In the meantime, we keep going, and keep the good ship Clarity afloat! But I will be honest with you: it was hard to steer the ship BEFORE they stopped broadcasting. Now it’s a whole other kettle of cod. But, we at Clarity have decided to keep the faith, not have any knee jerk reactions, or create more waves. We are going to sit it out, ever the optimists, until the Mother Ship Hochanda/Create & Craft makes the next move. Then we will decide what to do. In the meantime, we keep going on our own platforms and channels.
When we were at the Spa, we introduced a couple of new and lovely things…

Aren’t they gorgeous?! I really like this Patchwork design. It is so young and fresh. Would make a great stamp too! Watch this space…

See you in the Shac, just done lunch club for 40, the sun is shining and they all enjoyed it and I didn’t have so many aches and pains as usual ! You really hit the ground running when you got back, hope you manage a little nap. See you later xx

Lovely artwork from everyone! Sounds like you deserve a nap – life is strange when it throws you a curve ball isn’t it?
There I was moaning about my dodgy eye and double vision, then I get diagnosed with breast cancer – luckily very small, caught very early, with a good prognosis for recovery.
Counting my blessings here, having just returned from a lovely walk in the autumn sunshine around our village x

I love the retreat projects and can’t wait to get them finished. Have secret stuff to do first though. It was a really lovely crowd at the Retreat, so friendly and relaxing. x

I loved them too Glynis and definitely quite a lot to do to finish them off. Only got home this afternoon and a busy weekend ahead so not sure when I will find time.

Oh my you really have hit the ground running through no fault of your own. What you have come up with using Clarity TV seems to be working really well though. I have throughly enjoyed it all so far. Hope you manage to have that nap before seeing us all at 7.00pm……I’ll be there xxx

You certainly hit the ground running when you got back from your holiday & after such a hectic few days it is no wonder you are shattered. Hope the Power Nap happened, see you at 7. You have saved my sanity. That patchwork plate is just what I need for something I will be doing soon. I thought I was going to have to draw and paint my own art. Added to my next order.
Look on the bright side – while C&C are out of action you don’t have the travelling or the cost involved, no humping all the goods there, and more time to spend with your loyal followers on Clarity tv. I’m loving following the demonstrations, they are so relaxed and informative without the interruptions.

Barbara you are Super Talented with a seldom found gift of passing on your knowledge that is easily understood by ALL!! What you are NOT is a super hero who isn`t effected by every day life`s ills. I noticed it this evening in the Shac you were tired not quite there got emotional just thinking of your Gracie and Dave coming in with a cup of Chamomile Tea, smiling throughout, What I am trying to say is that you need to LISTEN to what it is telling you, Here endith the Sermon XXXX
