Firing up the blog again
Hi there
Last day of September. Had the whole of September off work. Am just sitting in front of a log fire with Dave, watching Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse Gone Fishing. And I have to say, Life is good. Those two blokes really show you how to relish the simple things in life. Such brilliant English humour.
Had a busy day at Clarity. Enjoyed hanging out with Paul and Jazz and Jim and Jilly. Got loads of planning done. I do love my team x
Tomorrow I‘m going to spend the day with Mum. It‘ll be good to catch up with her. I‘ve got so much to tell her about! The wedding in California, for starters! Earlier I spent a happy evening, writing October‘s newsletter, picking out photos to share.

Hi Barbara, I’m so glad the wedding went well and that you all had a wonderful time. I’m sure you needed the month for some family time. I’m sure your Mum will be glad to have your company again and hear all your news.
I think I’ve had all my holidays for this year now. We’ve just got back from Scotland and have met and cuddled my latest great grandchild!
She is so gorgeous!
I also managed to visit my cousin who is seriously ill in hospital whilst I was up there.
I always look forward to my club goodies arriving and now with the darker nights arriving I will get back into crafting!

Welcome back, sounds as if the wedding was a great day/s and it will be good to hear more about it when we’re back in the Shac. We love the fishing programme, so relaxing and love the dog ! They are a great pair together and such a refreshing watch too.
Bit stressful here at the moment with Mikey cat but we’ll get there. I didn’t think I’d be bringing him home today but he’s had another of his 9 lives and, at 18, he can’t have many left. CT scan on his jaw tomorrow and then hopefully an op to put it right. His whole routine is out of sync at the moment so I hope we can get him back. At 18 he shoudn’t be getting into these scrapes any more but he doesn’t listen.

I was just going to bed when I noticed the FB post so had to check it out – glad you have had a great time during September (time flies when you are having fun ) & after you enjoy a day with your mom tomorrow I will look forward to hearing what you have lined up for us over the coming weeks & months. Although October is already looking busy with the Craft along’s & Workshop !!

I will enjoy seeing my club goodies when I get back home. We are in Woolacombe, staying in a lovely apartment with a glorious view of the beach. It’s a beautiful place with lots of lovely walks and of course a wonderful long beach to paddle in! Also tea rooms and an ice cream shop 🍦xx

I’m so glad you and Dave got a well earned break and the photos you posted on Facebook were absolutely beautiful. So looking forward to hearing all about it in the shac. I started watching the shac from the beginning again and have managed to get through 105 shows, all absolutely brilliant. It was strange re-visiting all the thoughts, feelings and doubts we had back then when everything we were being told and advised were so confusing. I’ve also kept abreast of all the brilliant shows that have been on Create and Craft. Thank you all so much for keeping me company this past month. See you Monday, can’t wait.

Welcome back, and so pleased you had such a great time at Mark and Alex’s wedding. I have been sorting my old club stamps, stencils and dies, trying to make some space and order in my craft room! I need to get back to crafting, but my double vision problem is causing some issues. The consultant has told me that my brain will start to ignore it over time – hope so as it’s driving me mad! x
