Get Groovi with Tina tomorrow!

Get Groovi with Tina tomorrow!

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. More dentist today. But this too shall pass.

Quote for today?

Living in the solution. Much better than living in the problem.

So true! When something is wrong, it is much better to face it, work on rectifying it, than ignoring it and staying stuck in the problem. I have a wobbly front tooth. Eventually it will fall out all by itself. Better to deal with it now, while it’s still hanging on, and we can work on the solution in a calm and measured way, than when it becomes an emergency. You understand. Hahaha! I bet you’ll be staring at my mouth next time you see me, trying to guess which one it is!!

Didn’t Paul do well on Create & Craft?! So glad you like the new Groovi plates. Those dotty grid frames are invaluable. Just the ready built sentiments do it for me!

We’re like the buses! Nothing for ages, then 3 arrive back to back! Tomorrrow, Saturday 20th, Tina will be working her magic on Create & Craft at 1pm & 5pm. She’ll be shining a light on the second collection of Art Nouveau Groovi plates

Part 1 was showcased last month, and you can catch up via the Create & Craft website
1pm HERE
5pm HERE

Did you know that we also have them available as stamps, stencils AND dies ?

We even printed 2 fantastic ii Project Books, to accompany them.

All available HERE

Here are the 2 exquisite pieces of artwork that Tina will be sharing with you. Wow. This is right up my street…so arty!!

How about a little bit of inspiration from the clever design team?

Fabulous artwork. This art nouveau, Rennie Mackintosh inspired kind of style is so versatile. I hope you can join Tina, and watch her in action. I always learn when I watch her.

Love always

  1. Hello Barbara
Beautiful artwork from the DT. I love anything Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Not far from me is a house decorated by the great man. And it is open to the public.
If anyone finds themselves in Glasgow I can highly recommend a visit to the Willow Tearooms on Sauchiehall Street. It has been expertly restored a few years ago to CRM’s original designs.
The Three Musketeers were lucky enough to visit last September, have lunch there and a tour of the museum and gift shop next door.
    Love,

    1. I live to have tea and a wee scone at the Willow tea rooms when I go into town. They have done an amazing restoration on the building.

      1. my lovely niece is getting married at The House for Art Lovers next weekend, sadly my ongoing health issues prevent us travelling that far.

      2. Ooh, Fiona, I am sooo envious. I was born in Kelso but rarely get the chance to go home nowadays.

  2. Hope your tooth stays put,Barbara.
I love art nouveau, so will definitely be watching Tina, and topping up my collection.
My lovely husband has now created a ‘pot’ called Sheila’s Groovi fund. 🤣🤣🤣
He is a bad influence on me.
Look after your teeth, Pam Ayers will be proud. 😂

  3. Thirty years ago like you I had a wobbly front tooth and a few needing repair. They took an impression and sent the denture off to the hospital. Fortunately I was on the firms medical insurance as I was told there would be several extractions under anaesthetic. I woke up with NO TOP TEETH and only half of my lower ones. Can you wonder I hate dental treatment. Have to say though the dentures are snug and comfy.
Do hope your experience today wasn’t too bad.
Our “house elf” keeps moving things around, I find something one day and the next it is nowhere to be found. However things I thought were lost turn up so I can’t complain.
We have finally filled the skip and things are looking better after a rigorous de-clutter.
Loved Paul’s shows and looking forward to seeing Tina tomorrow.
    Have a good weekend. 🍒

  4. Thoroughly enjoyed Paul’s show last night, he is so calm and focussed.
