Paisley & Leaves!

Paisley & Leaves!

Hi there

Thanks for popping in.

You may recall a few weeks back I started to illustrate a new Groovi 9-piece Sampler for Paul to use in the weekly Groovi Tuesday on Facebook LIVE. I just thought it would be cool to tackle a different design, having focussed on that Butterfly Wreath since Groovi Tuesday was introduced.

Well, I finished it off and passed it over to Lucy to work her magic and turn it into a Groovi plate. Et Voila! Hot off the Groovi production line this morning:

Thing about paisley, apart from being a superb shape, it’s great for male cards too. Butterflies not so. And since Paisley symbolizes the Tree of Life, well I think that’s a perfect reason to give it energy and work with it for a few weeks.

I drew the various paisley leaves with different parching skillsets in mind. There is SO MUCH TO LEARN in this one plate, and Paul is the perfect companion to guide you through the different techniques: colouring, whitework, perforating, picot cutting – and much more.

We launched this plate during this morning’s Groovi Tuesday, and it is available for you to buy now, so that we can get it sent out to you immediately, and so that you can join in next Tuesday, when Paul puts the first leaf through its paces.

Here you can see how each of the designs can be deconstructed. Just use the elements you want, and leave the rest behind. Oh! The magic of the Groovi system!

You know how it is. The more you do, the better you get. And the better you get, the more you want to do! One hour a week of FREE tuition with Paul on a Tuesday morning at 10 am on Facebook LIVE. Gentle, patient and easy does it. That’s Paul. And that’s how he presents the parchment craft. If you want to give it a go, get this plate and join in.

If you missed this mornings episode or any of the previous episodes, they are all available via our Clarity You Tube Channel HERE

I think I shall join in too. It is good for the head and the soul.

Stay safe

Love always

  1. Thoroughly enjoying the Groovi Tuesday’s with Paul. Sadly, purchased the starter kit back in early March to join in with Paul but due to an accident not been able to physically join in live yet!!! But I have enjoyed watching and listening and hopefully in the coming weeks I will be able to start my Groovi journey.
    Paisley & leaves looks interesting!
    Take care, keep safe everyone.

  2. Have already ordered it! Especially love the one with leaves in it – love anything to do with the natural world flora and fauna (apart from bugs!). Lovely design Barbara and looking forward to using it – thanks so much xx

  3. Oh please stop designing such beautiful things! There is always too much month left at the end of the money. Such a gorgeous, versatile plate is hard to resist though, so I shall put it at the top of my wish list.
Have a lovely evening. Hugs. Annette X
