Christmas Day

Christmas Day

Hi there,

Thanks for popping in.

Happy Christmas!

Before the family congregates round the big table for breakfast, and in between peeling spuds and prepping pigs in blankets for Christmas lunch later, I thought I would just take myself off for 5 minutes, to wish you all the very, very best.

Christmas is a funny old time of year. Some are surrounded by family and friends, some are not. Some are partying and celebrating, some are not. Some are poodling along without a care in the world, some are struggling to hold it all together. But whatever is going on in your life, I hope with all my heart that you are ok.

Hereโ€™s a little video that we put together for you. Simon on camera, Dave on guitar. It comes from the heart.

The sun is shining, so once the turkey is in the oven, we will head off out for a family walk. Itโ€™s important.

Love & Hugs,

Barb xx

  1. Merry Christmas, Barbara, to you, Dave and all your family. It’s very kind of you to take time to send us all a message. I’m watching Death in Paradise just now and but will get organised soon to head to Church to play with the kids toys, sing a few carols and tell the Christmas story using parcels of chocolate. The kids will definitely be needing more!! Then back home to spend time with you on Clarity. I’ll be here for the afternoon but have been invited out for dinner tonight which will be nice. Hope you have a lovely day. Enjoy your walk. Hx

  2. Happy Christmas to you and all your family Barbara. I am promised a walk as soon as I arrive at my son’s house and the sun is shining. Love that card at the finish and the shrink plastic children. xxx

  3. Turkey is prepped ready for the oven later. Currently watching Disney’s Christmas Carol (the umpty umph version of the story this year – hubby is a fan!!!) and we are both very relaxed.

Thank you for the beautiful video. I found it moving, and I was touched. I seem to be feeling that quite a bit over the last couple of days…

Dave, please can you make a CD of your music. It’s beautiful, and there’s something special about it, gives me the special, and calming feelings. I’m sure I’m not the only one on the autistic spectrum who would find your music very helpful during autism meltdowns, and when struggling with stressful and frightening situations.

I hope everyone has had the best Christmas that is possible for you.

Love and cuddles to you Barb xxx
