Monday Groovi Bauble Project.

Monday Groovi Bauble Project.

Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
And thanks for watching our shows if you did,
and thanks for your custom, if you decided what we had on offer  was for you xxx
Took over 6 hours to get home.
M11 traffic.
Ah well, the lorry driver whose truck caught fire probably had a worse day than most of us bringing up the rear of the procession.
Here’s a bauble step by step with a difference.
Inspired by lovely Linda Williams
On black parchment, emboss the two outer squares of the Nested Squares.
On the front of the parchment and using the Nested circles, trace 3 circles with a white pencil. Remember our
I used the 6th, 5th and 4th from the centre.
TOP TIP:
Use the plate Groovi side down, so the surface is smooth.

Use a ruler to draw in the straight dangle lines.

Working from behind and using a lightwave, fill the baubles with the snowflakes. Stay within the circles. Fill the circles well, to create the illusion of a circle when the white lines are rubbed out.
Perforate first from the front. Then add the outline from behind.

You will find the little hangers on one of the snowflakes.

Time to rub out the white lines.

Perforate round the outside edge with a 2-needle bold tool and a straight grid underneath.

Cut out.

Add a little Sticky Ink and Perga glitter.
Mat and layer to impress.

The Duets – the Groovi and Grid Snowflake were a huge hit.
now available on our website.
As a bundle. Or as pairs. Or individually
Thanks to Paul for keeping going all afternoon.
Love & Hugs,
Barb

  1. Love the snowflake plates and will order them when I get back from holiday as I don't want parcels turning up while we're away. Sorry you had a dreadful journey home x

  2. Hi Barb,
What a nightmare journey home, I hope the lorry driver was ok.
The shows were all fabulous and this one was lovely, so pleased that you've given us the step by steps. The Duets are such a clever idea and can't wait to try them out myself. Thank you for yet another fabulous product. Love and hugs Alison xx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope you've all had a good day. Donna, hope it wasn't too traumatic for you today – I always used to think that as soon as you walk through the school doors you forget you've been on holiday!!! Love and hugs Alison xxx

  3. These pretty snowflakes work really well made into baubles and the white of the embossing and perforating stands out beautifully against the black parchment. I was busy today so missed the shows but will have a look on catch up. x

  4. Glad you got home safely… Eventually!
I managed to catch up on all the shows this evening…I've been out with my friend today who has just retired from teaching so as today would have been the start of term we went out….because we can! Well it would be rude not to!
The shows were great and I loved seeing all the different ways everyone had used the plates!
    Love and hugs! Xxx

  5. I should think you were whacked. I hope the lorry driver is ok. We travelled from Corfe Castle to Bedford the other week and that was 4 and a half hours on the road. Same distance as from here to Bedford but one and a half hours longer. Still sitting on my hands until Leyburn but it was very hard xx

  6. Loved the shows and what you did with snow flakes amazing so pretty wish I could groovi but sadly had to give up cause the pain in my shoulder is so sever just cannot to it even a bit of water colouring left me on a lot of pain with no pressure hopefully when go to pain clinic later this month may give me something to ease pain hope so have told me to bad for steroid injections. Which does ease some of my knee pain to sleep no more moaning have to watch and enjoy you all doing it you must have been tired after your long drive home after all those shows hope Paul also arrived home okay. Of to bed and try to sleep know night night xxx

  7. Hi Barbara
What a beautiful card, love how the baubles look round, such a clever trick. I haven't seen the shows yet, that's my treat tomorrow afternoon, this working lark I've just gone back to gets in the way! What a nightmare journey home, hope you can relax a bit tomorrow.
    Love Diane xxx

  9. Stunning card, watched 1pm show, recorded todays other two shows, will probably succumb to a duet of snowflake plates sooner or later. Hope you have a good nights sleep and a chilled out day tomorrow. xx

  10. Hello Barb, glad to hear you got home safely, even though it was a long trip. Loved the demo of this card, it is so elegant and lovely, and now the step by step for future reference. The shows were great, with tons of inspiration from you all. Take care. Bx
