  1. Lovely piece of art Barb and "Wish you were here" is a lovely sentiment for this piece. But could you imagine if we all were with you, that would be massive lol.

I just have to say I really love You Tube Tuesday and learn so much. If I get in the craft room today I am going to make cottonwool clouds.

  6. Hi Barbara. Great scene, I do wish we were all there! Thanks for the tips, making the clouds is so cool. Still not sure about drawing the frame freehand! Must practice that a lot more : ) Take care.

  7. Hi Barb,
Great video with lots of tips. I love this scene as it always reminds me of the harbour at Tenby where I've spent many an hour on holidays. Have all of these stamps so will have a play later and see if I can get my clouds right. Thanks for everything, love Alison xxx

  8. A fantastic video tutorial showcasing all the techniques you need to create a Clarity masterpiece. A brilliant refresher too. Can feel an urgent need for a trip to the seaside. Beautiful card Barbara. X

  9. Good morning Barb,
Hope you are feeling much better today.
This is a super card and I think we should all get together for a day at the seaside, with a "99 and monkey's blood", but we'll forego a paddle because the water up here in the North Sea will give your feet frostbite!
Have a good day everyone x

  10. Loved your finished work, but loved the top tips even more! Can't wait to try the clouds. Tho you make it look so easy and I'll make it look so hard. Lol.
Just one query – with the low tack masking tape border each time I've tried I end up taking some of the surface of the card off with me when using theuva card. Have de-tacked and stuck on gently but no go. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Right, now where is that cotton wool? I know I have some somewhere! (if not I'll get more strange looks from hubby when I send him out for yet another odd crafting necessity!)
    Hugs ((()))

  11. Another really informative and helpful video project – thanks for taking all the time to do these for us – great for visual learners like me!! I'm sure I have those little houses somewhere….. Susan x

  12. I love this demo. The artwork reminds me of Tobermoray, just the harbour, all the different coloured houses especially viewed from the sea. Magic

  13. Super! Love the sound effects. The fished art is certainly good enough to be framed and hung in your gallery if you still have room. I was trying to get a watery effect on a card recently……….. isn't it easy when you know how! Really enjoy watching you on Tuesdays. XX

  14. Great video today Barbara with fantastic tips thank you. I do like those clouds but haven't quite mastered them yet! Shall we sit in the sun and have an ice cream whilst we are there? Have a great day. Love Diane xxx

  15. This is a beautiful work of art Barbara and reminds me of St. Ives. The air around this part of the Cornish coast is so clear and bright and obviously very popular with artists now and in the past, and the sea is crystal clear. The cotton wool clouds technique gives a lovely finished effect, and the hand drawn frame is another good thing to try. Thanks for this great YT demo. I love the sound of the seagulls in the background too, they give you an immediate need to be by the sea. x

  16. You are reading my mind again. That or you have a little spy camera in my room. That is the next set I am about to get out, together with the beach huts and deckchair. Thank you for setting out the project so well for me. Definitely one I shall be dding to the ones held on my Kindle.- for when I have no internet access. Take care and get some sleep after today. xx Maggie
