Craftalong – one and all!

Craftalong – one and all!

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. As promised, here’s a date to put in your diary for the next

CLARITY CRAFTALONG : Wednesday 14th July 7pm

What are we using? Well, I read all your suggestions and requests, as to which of the latest Floral LinoCut Stampsets we should use:

The Alliums, the Teasels or the Poppies…

I was wrong in assuming that you would all want to go with the poppies. Your preferences were very evenly distributed between all three sets!

So. This is my conclusion. Pick ANY of them, pick whichever ones you fancy – and I will rustle up a techniques and tricks Craftalong where you can use ANY one of them ! That way, whether you have just one of the sets or all three of them – you can join in. Leave the Craftalong Content to me xxx

I’ll post the ingredients list next week, when I figure out what we’re doing together! I will definitely be including the trick with the arty backdrop colours! If you haven’t already got the following, I highly recommend that you add these square backdrop stamps to your wishlist:

The Square Backdrop stamps. CLICK HERE

We will use Distress Oxide ink pads on this plate to build an arty, abstract landscape background for the Linocut stamps. Oh yes!! I’ve just had a really good idea!! Yep. That sounds like a solid plan.

Fancy joining me on 14th July? We’ll post more info next week.

There’s a lot to be said for hanging out together, crafting together. Even though we cannot meet up in halls, we can still have a super time together, making the most of FREE YouTube sessions and FREE Facebook Live sessions. Our time will come again, when we can gather together, and craft alongside each other. But for now, it is what it is. And actually, it can be what we make it.

Stay safe,

Love always

Barb xxx

  2. Will be joining you with my Poppy set. Looking forward to the session. So kind of you to organise something everyone can do according to their preferred stamp set. You rock.
Tried doing a straight line as per Grace’s blog but I think I will have to get new specs – ha ha!!! – wonky doesn’t begin to describe my effort.
    Stay safe.

  11. Really looking forward to this Craftalong Barbara. The new stamps look amazing, and the background stamps are a game changer! Thank you so much for doing these sessions, it’s like having a one to one tutorial with the bonus of being able to chat with the rest of the Clarity community at the same time!

  15. Look forward to the craftalong. Just wanted to say thank you for my prize, your book about stamping, which arrived in my parcel on Saturday.
I think I will be ready for some chilled out crafting by 14th, work being done on our house and it will be messy and dusty but the end result is what I need to keep in mind.
Love the new Lino cut designs!

  16. Hello Barbara ,
As you know I rarely comment. However I had such fun at the last Craftalong that I had to say “ thank you” and that I’ve made a note on my Calendar of the next one.
Chatted to Diane and Maureen via WhatsApp at the last one. Have placed my Order.
    Many thanks
    Love Myra

  17. I’ll have to join in after the event I’m afraid, but my open day order arrived today and the square backdrops were in it, along with a few other bits! Mustn’t order anything else until my office come craft room is installed and the boxes are unpacked! Not long now x

  18. Just catching up with posts from the last few days – very excited for this. My allium stamps are on their way so I’ll be good and ready!
